Center for DNA and Fingerprint Development Campus wide network setup by Zoom

The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) is an autonomous organization funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. In addition, DNA, Fingerprinting and Diagnostics services provided by the centre support some of the activities. Recently a new building equipped with world class state-of-the-art instrumentation and computing infrastructure to facilitate working in frontier areas of research in Life Sciences was constructed.

The entire campus wide network for this new high tech lab was done by Zoom Technologies. The entire network backbone is on fiber and the connected by high end switches. The network security and firewall to protect the servers containing crucial and sensitive data is also implemented by Zoom Technologies.
